STARRALITY / TRUST & SAFETY
Community Guidelines.
A place for expression. A commitment to safety.
Our standards for a community built on creativity, connection and respect.
THE FUTURE IS HUMAN
Connection starts with trust.
Starrality brings people together through social experiences, creativity and discovery. These standards are designed to support expression while addressing behavior that could put people or communities at risk.
Our approach to safety
Starrality is a place to share, discover and connect. Creative expression and open conversation matter, and so does the safety of the people participating. These Community Guidelines explain the content and conduct we do not allow, the standards for wider distribution, and how we may respond when our rules are broken.
These Guidelines apply to accounts, profiles, usernames, posts, reels, captions, comments, reactions, messages, voice recordings, Global Hangout, creator activities, product listings and other interactions on Starrality. They apply regardless of whether content is public, restricted or shared privately, subject to applicable law and our technical capabilities.
Respect people and communities
We do not allow threats, targeted intimidation, stalking, sexual harassment, coordinated abuse or repeated unwanted contact. This includes encouraging others to attack someone, deliberately exposing a person to abuse, or using multiple accounts to continue harassment after being blocked.
Disagreement, criticism, satire and discussion of public issues are generally allowed. We consider context, including whether material is intended to threaten or degrade a person rather than express an opinion.
Hate and hateful conduct
Content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens or advocates exclusion or violence against people based on protected characteristics is prohibited. These include race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, caste, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity.
Discussion, reporting, counterspeech and educational material may be permitted when context makes clear that hateful behavior is being condemned rather than endorsed.
Violence and dangerous activity
Do not threaten violence, encourage attacks, celebrate serious injury, coordinate criminal harm or provide actionable assistance for violent wrongdoing. Content supporting violent extremist organizations or recruitment is prohibited.
We do not permit dangerous dares, challenges or stunts that encourage others to risk serious injury. This applies to creator challenges, promotional campaigns and reward-driven participation. Do not pressure people to perform unsafe activities for views, recognition or prizes.
Child safety and protection
We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form, including grooming, sexual solicitation, coercion, trafficking, sexualized depictions of minors and attempts to obtain or exchange exploitative material. We may remove content, disable accounts, preserve relevant information where lawful and report suspected exploitation to appropriate authorities as required by law.
Do not endanger minors, reveal sensitive information about them without authorization, or use Starrality to arrange exploitative contact. Account age eligibility and age-dependent feature access are governed by our Terms and applicable law; additional protections may apply to younger users.
Sexual exploitation and intimate privacy
Sexual violence, exploitation, trafficking, non-consensual intimate imagery, threats to share intimate material and sexual extortion are prohibited. AI-generated or altered intimate depictions of real people without consent are also prohibited.
We prohibit solicitation of sexual services and explicit sexual content. Content discussing recovery, prevention or education may be assessed in context.
Mental health, self-harm and eating disorders
People may share personal experiences, seek support and discuss recovery. We do not allow encouragement, glorification, instructions or challenges promoting suicide, self-harm, eating disorders or other serious physical harm.
We may remove graphic depictions, limit distribution or direct people toward support resources when appropriate. Starrality is not an emergency service; anyone facing immediate danger should contact local emergency services.
Privacy and personal information
Do not publish or threaten to publish another person’s private information without authorization, including home addresses, private contact details, financial credentials, identity documents or live location when disclosure could create a risk of harm.
Do not share private conversations, images or recordings in ways that violate another person’s rights or applicable law. Use available reporting and blocking tools to address unwanted contact.
Authenticity, impersonation and AI content
Do not impersonate another person, business or organization to mislead others. Fake endorsements, fraudulent identities, manipulated engagement, bot-driven deception and coordinated inauthentic behavior are prohibited.
Realistic AI-generated or materially altered content must not mislead people about significant events, identities or statements. Where relevant, disclose synthetic or altered media clearly. Satire and creative fiction may be allowed when their nature is reasonably apparent.
Scams, shopping and commercial integrity
Fraud, phishing, identity theft, fake giveaways, misleading earnings claims, counterfeit goods, deceptive product listings and payment redirection scams are prohibited. Businesses and creators must accurately represent products, prices, availability and material terms.
Commercial content must disclose material relationships, including sponsorships, gifts and commissions, as required by law. Sellers must comply with applicable commerce terms and product restrictions. Starrality may restrict listings, commerce features or accounts when abuse is identified.
Spam and platform manipulation
Do not use bulk unsolicited messaging, repetitive posts, malicious links, engagement farms, fake followers, automated scraping, unauthorized bots or attempts to manipulate discovery and ranking systems.
Do not circumvent blocks, bans, safety restrictions or technical protections by creating replacement accounts or exploiting vulnerabilities.
Misinformation and public-interest content
We may restrict or remove demonstrably false or manipulated content when it creates a substantial risk of serious real-world harm, such as dangerous medical claims, emergency misinformation or fraudulent voting instructions.
We aim to distinguish harmful deception from opinion, parody, good-faith discussion and reporting. Context, evidence, severity and local law may affect our response.
Sensitive and graphic content
We may remove or restrict extremely graphic violence, gore, cruelty to animals, explicit nudity or other content that is unsuitable for broad distribution.
Some documentary, artistic, educational or newsworthy material may remain available with warnings or reduced recommendation eligibility when appropriate and lawful.
Intellectual property and creator rights
Share only content you own or have permission to use. Do not upload copyrighted music, video, photography, trademarks or other protected material in violation of applicable law.
Creators retain rights as described in our Terms. A creator posting on Starrality does not automatically grant another user or business permission to use that content in advertising. Commercial reuse requires appropriate authorization and licensing.
Recommendations and distribution
Content may be allowed on Starrality without being eligible for recommendation or prominent discovery. We may limit distribution of borderline, repetitive, misleading or age-inappropriate material even where removal is not warranted.
We do not promise that any post, creator or business will receive a particular number of views, followers, recommendations, sales or rewards.
Reporting, blocking and urgent safety concerns
Users should report content, accounts or interactions that appear to violate these Guidelines using available in-app reporting tools or the support contact listed below. Where supported, blocking helps limit unwanted interactions.
For immediate threats to life or physical safety, contact local emergency services first. Reports are reviewed according to severity, available evidence and operational capacity; submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.
How we enforce our rules
Depending on severity and context, Starrality may remove content, reduce its visibility, restrict features, issue warnings, suspend or terminate accounts, limit shopping or monetization access, or refer suspected unlawful activity to appropriate authorities where permitted or required.
We may consider repeat violations, risk of harm, intent, context and attempts to evade enforcement. We strive for consistent decisions but cannot guarantee detection or removal of every violation. We may provide notice and a way to request review where feasible or legally required.
Appeals and corrections
If you believe an enforcement action was incorrect, contact our support team through the channels made available in the app or on our website. Include relevant account information and the action you want reviewed; do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents by ordinary email.
We may correct decisions after reviewing additional context. Appeal availability and timelines can vary depending on the action and applicable law.
Updates to these Guidelines
Online risks and Starrality’s products will evolve. We may update these Guidelines to address new features, emerging harms, legal requirements and community needs. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
These Guidelines supplement our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and any applicable commerce or creator program rules. If a conflict exists, applicable law controls.
