About these terms

These Creator & Editorial Participation Terms describe opportunities to be considered for Starrality Magazine, interviews, creator spotlights, articles, platform stories, editorial series, launch coverage, events and related projects. They supplement, rather than replace, Starrality's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and any agreement signed for a particular project.

Where an individual participation agreement conflicts with these general terms, the more specific signed agreement governs that project to the extent permitted by law.

Eligibility and selection

Starrality may invite or accept applications from creators, subscribers, businesses and other participants. Selection may consider relevance, originality, availability, editorial fit, authenticity, safety, legal eligibility and project requirements. Starrality may verify submitted information and decline or discontinue participation for legitimate editorial, safety, operational or legal reasons.

Submitting an application, maintaining an account, meeting a follower milestone or being contacted by Starrality does not guarantee selection, publication, visibility, continued placement or a future opportunity.

Subscriptions and editorial opportunities

Where editorial consideration is described as a subscription benefit, it means eligible subscribers may be considered under the stated program criteria. Unless a specific offer expressly promises a defined deliverable, a subscription does not guarantee a magazine feature, interview, campaign placement, award, audience reach, payment or other outcome.

Subscription price, billing frequency, renewal, cancellation and any guaranteed benefits must be presented separately at checkout and in the applicable Subscription Terms. Editorial consideration is not a substitute for those disclosures. Starrality will not describe a paid benefit as guaranteed unless it can deliver that benefit.

Submitting your work

Participants may submit biographies, photographs, videos, music, interviews, artwork, links, written statements or other materials. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit the material and must not knowingly provide unlawful, misleading, infringing or privacy-invasive content.

You retain ownership of your original work. Submitting materials for consideration grants Starrality a limited, nonexclusive permission to receive, securely store and internally review those materials, and to contact you about the submission. Submission alone does not grant an unrestricted right to publish your likeness or reuse your work in advertising.

If you are selected, Starrality may ask you to confirm factual details, obtain third-party clearances and enter a project-specific release or license before publication.

Editorial standards and independence

Starrality determines its editorial calendar, story angles, headlines, layouts, publication channels and timing, subject to applicable law and any agreed contractual limits. Editorial material may be fact-checked, shortened, formatted or edited for clarity, accuracy, accessibility, safety and house style.

Starrality aims to distinguish independent editorial coverage from advertising, sponsorship and paid placement. Payment for a subscription does not purchase favorable editorial treatment. Sponsored material and other material connections should be clearly disclosed where required.

Participants should provide truthful information and promptly flag material factual inaccuracies. Starrality may decline to publish or may correct, update or remove content when appropriate.

Content, name, image and likeness

Before using a participant's name, photograph, likeness, voice, personal story or original content in a specific magazine feature, campaign or other identifiable project, Starrality should obtain the permissions appropriate to that use. A project-specific Media & Likeness Release may describe the approved materials, channels, territory, duration, editing rights, credit, compensation and any limits.

Consent to appear in an editorial interview or magazine feature does not automatically authorize use in paid advertisements, third-party brand campaigns, product endorsements, merchandise or unrelated promotions. Any broader use requires a separate, sufficiently clear authorization where applicable.

Starrality does not acquire ownership of a creator's original content solely because the creator uses the app, subscribes or participates in an editorial opportunity.

Commercial collaborations and brand usage

Starrality may facilitate opportunities with hotels, restaurants, brands, events and other partners. When a partner seeks to use creator content in its own advertising or commercial channels, the scope of that license, permitted edits, duration, territory, exclusivity, fees and required disclosures should be agreed separately.

Creators must not be presented as endorsing a brand or product without appropriate authorization. Starrality and participants must comply with applicable advertising and endorsement disclosure rules, including disclosures for compensation, gifts and other material connections.

Compensation, expenses and benefits

Editorial participation may be unpaid, paid or accompanied by separately described benefits. Starrality will communicate material compensation terms, deliverables, expense arrangements, payment conditions and applicable tax documentation before work begins where relevant. No payment, royalty, reimbursement, employment relationship or continuing engagement is implied solely by submission or selection.

Creator rewards, awards, event access and paid campaigns may have separate eligibility rules and agreements. No minimum views, follower growth, brand deal or income is guaranteed.

Privacy, safety and younger participants

Information submitted for editorial consideration is handled under Starrality's Privacy Policy and any applicable project notices. Starrality should collect only information reasonably necessary for selection, verification, production, payment and legal compliance, and restrict access to those who need it.

Participants must respect others' privacy and must not submit private communications, personal contact details or third-party images without appropriate authority. For minors, Starrality requires age-appropriate safeguards and parent or legal guardian authorization when legally required. Certain projects or commercial uses may be restricted to adults.

Starrality may suspend a project or decline publication where it identifies credible risks involving exploitation, coercion, harassment, impersonation or other serious safety concerns.

Corrections, requests and withdrawal

Participants may contact Starrality to request correction of a material factual error, discuss privacy concerns or ask that future uses of their materials stop. Starrality will assess requests in light of applicable law, editorial integrity, agreements already entered, legitimate records and technical limitations.

Withdrawal may not require removal of already distributed print magazines, third-party reposts, archival records or materials lawfully used under a valid agreement. Where consent is the legal basis for a particular use, participants may have rights to withdraw it, subject to applicable law and the effect on prior lawful processing.

Changes and contact

Starrality may update these terms as its editorial programs develop. Material changes will be communicated as required by law, and changes will not retroactively expand rights granted under an existing signed project agreement without appropriate authorization.
