Starrality is operated by Para Vitae Inc. d/b/a Starrality (“Starrality,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are responsible for the personal information we process in connection with our Services, except where another company acts independently under its own privacy terms.

Depending on how you use Starrality and which features are available, we may collect:

• Account and profile information: username, display name, email address, profile image, biography, profile links, account settings, and other details you provide.
• Content and interactions: posts, reels, photos, videos, audio, voice comments, GIFs, captions, reactions, comments, follows, friendships, saved items, and interactions with other users.
• Communications: private messages, group or Global Hangout conversations, shared media, and related metadata needed to deliver and protect communications.
• Device and technical information: browser or app type, operating system, device identifiers where available, IP address, crash diagnostics, log data, and performance information.
• Usage information: pages and features visited, engagement with content, approximate interaction times, and activity used to operate, measure, and improve the Services.
• Support and safety information: reports, appeals, communications with support, and information relevant to investigating abuse or enforcing our rules.
• Optional information: information you choose to submit for creator opportunities, events, commerce, or other programs, if those features are offered.

We may receive limited information from service providers or third parties when you use an integrated feature or choose to connect an external service. The information we collect depends on the features you use and the choices you make.

• Create and manage accounts and provide profiles, feeds, search, social connections, and messaging.
• Host, process, display, and deliver user-generated content and media.
• Personalize content discovery, recommendations, and user experiences.

Sharing and visibility

Information you share publicly. Public profiles, public posts, comments, reactions, and other public activity may be viewed by other people, including people outside Starrality if the feature permits public access or sharing. Other users may copy or reshare content.

People you interact with. When you message someone or participate in a shared conversation, the intended recipients or participants can see the content and relevant account information, subject to the feature's settings.

Service providers. We may share information with vendors that help provide hosting, cloud storage, authentication, content delivery, analytics, customer support, security, payment processing, or other functions, subject to applicable agreements and safeguards.

Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when legally required, to respond to lawful requests, or when reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, property, and the integrity of our Services.

Corporate transactions. Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

Messages and user content

Starrality supports social content and may provide direct messaging, voice, media sharing, and group conversations. We process message content and related data to transmit, store, display, and protect these communications. Depending on the feature, authorized safety processes may also access content when needed to investigate reports, misuse, or legal requests.

Message privacy and encryption. Messages are not represented as end-to-end encrypted unless we explicitly state that a particular feature provides that protection.

When you delete content, it may cease to appear in the Services, but limited copies may remain temporarily in backups, security records, or where retention is legally required. Content already saved or shared by others may remain outside our control.

Shopping, advertising and rewards

Starrality is developing and may offer features that let people discover products, save items, engage with businesses, participate in creator programs, or view advertisements. If you use an available feature, we may process the information needed for that activity, such as product interactions, shopping preferences, merchant communications, purchase or transaction details, and eligibility information for rewards.

Payment details may be handled by third-party payment providers under their own terms and privacy policies. Payment providers may collect and process payment information directly, as described in their privacy notices. Additional notices or terms may apply to specific features when they become available.

Where advertising or analytics technologies require consent or offer opt-out rights, we will provide the relevant controls or disclosures as required by law. You can manage certain permissions and preferences through your device, browser or available in-app controls.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and the features available, you may be able to:

• View and update certain profile details and account settings.
• Choose the audience for supported content and manage social connections.
• Delete individual content or request deletion of your account.
• Manage device permissions and certain notifications through your device or app settings.

• Object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where applicable, or request a portable copy of eligible data.

Children and teens

Starrality is not intended for children under 13, or under a higher minimum age where required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are below the applicable minimum age. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it or otherwise comply with applicable law.

We may apply additional safeguards to accounts belonging to younger users where appropriate or required by law.
