Our approach to safety

We aim to support expression and meaningful connection while limiting harm. Our decisions are guided by the seriousness of the behavior, available evidence, context, applicable law and the risk of continued harm. We may act on reports from users, trusted sources, legal requests, or signals identified through our safety processes.

Our Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Child Safety Standards provide additional information. Nothing in this policy guarantees that all harmful activity will be identified or prevented.

Reporting concerns

People should be able to raise concerns about posts, reels, comments, profiles, messages, group conversations, suspicious accounts, fraudulent listings and other activity. Where an in-app report option is available, use it to provide the relevant content or account and a description of the concern. You may also contact our designated safety team using the details below.

Reports should be made in good faith. Knowingly false reports, coordinated mass-reporting intended to silence others, or misuse of reporting tools may themselves violate our rules. Do not publicly repost suspected abusive or exploitative material to draw attention to it.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Starrality is not an emergency-response service.

How safety reviews work

We may consider the reported material, surrounding context, relevant account activity, repeat behavior, the severity of potential harm and applicable legal requirements. Reports involving credible threats, exploitation of minors or imminent physical harm warrant heightened priority and appropriate escalation.

Not every report will result in removal. Some situations may require additional context, while others may require swift protective action before a review is complete. Automated tools, where used, can make mistakes; consequential decisions should have appropriate human review and escalation processes. We do not promise a particular response time unless we have publicly established and can meet that commitment.

How we enforce our standards

Depending on the circumstances, Starrality may take one or more proportionate actions, consistent with law and our Terms:

• Remove or restrict access to content, comments, media, listings or messages.
• Limit recommendations, discovery, distribution, participation in groups or access to particular features.
• Issue warnings or require corrective steps.
• Temporarily restrict posting, messaging, commerce, creator rewards or other functions.
• Suspend or terminate accounts, including related accounts used to evade enforcement.
• Preserve relevant records or make reports to appropriate authorities when legally required or otherwise permitted.

Serious violations may result in immediate restrictions without a prior warning. Repeat violations, evasion, coordinated abuse and attempts to exploit platform systems may lead to stronger measures.

Responding to serious harm

We prohibit threats of violence, targeted harassment, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, grooming, trafficking, dangerous challenges, credible fraud, and attempts to obtain or expose another person's sensitive information. We may take urgent action where the available information indicates an immediate or severe safety risk.

Where law requires it, we will report apparent child sexual abuse material or other reportable conduct to the designated authorities. Users should not download, forward or investigate such material themselves. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services directly.

Protecting children and teens

Starrality prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in all forms. We do not permit grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, or content that facilitates abuse. Safety concerns involving children receive heightened attention and may require preservation of evidence, account restrictions, removal of material and legally required reporting.

Age eligibility, messaging access, discoverability, creator participation and shopping experiences should be designed and operated with appropriate safeguards. A published policy is not a substitute for implementing and testing these protections. See our Child Safety Standards for additional rules.

Notices, corrections and appeals

Where appropriate and legally permissible, we aim to explain enforcement actions and offer a reasonable way to request review. Notices may be limited when disclosure could compromise safety, investigations, another person's privacy or legal obligations.

If you believe a decision was made in error, provide the account identifier, relevant content or report reference, and a concise explanation through the available appeal or support channel. We may uphold, modify or reverse a decision after review. Repeated or abusive appeal submissions may be limited.

Accountability, privacy and continuous improvement

We seek to apply our standards consistently, identify recurring abuse patterns, and improve safeguards as the platform evolves. Safety processes should include appropriate access controls, documentation, escalation pathways and periodic review. We handle report information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including limits on access and retention.

We do not promise perfect detection, uninterrupted moderation or a harm-free experience. We remain responsible for complying with applicable legal obligations and do not use these standards to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
